Masato Yamamoto

Masato Yamamoto Worked as an in-house designer at a European interior product design company for 13 years before becoming independent and founding “studio in the air” in 2007. He now lives in the remote countryside of Switzerland. Before designing he spent a year and a half as a “househusband.” Carefree by nature yet leading a grounded life, he is constantly thinking of ideas for his next great “tool for living.”

- Designer Comments - I thought the idea of “each one different, each one the same” would be very fun. The glasses all have different heights and diameters, but all hold exactly 400ml. At first glance they look like 3 different cups or bowls, but pour some drinks and you might realize everyone’s gotten just as drunk and just as big. Since every person has different sized hands and a different taste, there is certainly a glass, for everyone to enjoy.
